Assingment #9
Hi! Long time no write... Anyways, this is my response to assignment #9. As it was written in my assignment #7(question e.), I was an author. Well I wrote a fiction book(a diary book, with some editing), after I interviewed a family that immigrated from 13 colonies to New France/BNA. How did I interviewed them? I made a time machine. It was easy, really.
So, this is just a book trial, actually the back of the book, which it's going to be in the book, and you know what I mean.
Dear Diary,
when I woke up in the morning, the first thing I heard was my mother crying. Maybe that was the sound that woke me up. Never did I heard such a sound. When I found out where she was, and the reason she was crying, I gasped. My eldest brother, John Allen lay on his bed motionless. Blood was all over him, but how come he's perfectly tucked in the covers? I tried to fight back all the tears so my siblings wouldn't see me.
But when I saw them, I was surprised once again. Even all of my older brothers and sister were crying. When they saw me on the front of door, they told me to go back to sleep because it was just 3 o'clock in the morning, and it's not right for me to be still awake. Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep at all. John's figure always came up to my mind, and always thought all the things we did together, and I had so many questions, Did something happen to John?, Am I ever going to find out?, Am I old enough to know?, Why didn't they let me in his bedroom?, and What's with all the blood?.........

Assignment #8 - The Real Riel
*a year ago? yeah right!
Hello everybody, today we have a special guest(as usual), but today we have a really special guest. He is a really honored person. Some people respects him, and some people see him as a traitor. Why is that? Well, we are about to find out, because we have him right here on the studio!!!
*clap..clap..clap..clap..*.
Mr.Riel: Thank you..Thank you.
(hanifa and Mr. Riel shake hands)
Hanifa: Mr. Riel, it is my honor to meet you in real life. (hanifa whispers:I've always wanted to ask questions about your adventures).
Mr.Riel: Well, it's my honor too to meet you Hanifa.
Hanifa: Well, as you know, my show is called "The Most Three Important questions", so I HAVE to ask only three questions-but actually I wanted to ask thousands of questions.
Mr.Riel: *laughing*, Well, I have time.
Hanifa: The questions we ask are the most "important" and "reasonable" from the audience, so ladies and gentlemen, you have these board in front of you. Please ask a reasonable questions. You can start......now.
*music playing*
Hanifa:OK, time's up. Now we have to wait 2 minutes to see the questions...
*music playing(again)*
Hanifa: Well, this is our first question for you Mr. Riel.(why is it getting serious)"As everyone knows, you were a leader of Métis. Where did you get the idea of leading the Métis?"
Mr. Riel: *silence*...hhmmm, interesting question. I actually just had this..like weird dream, but you know that if we dream, we are sleeping, but I wasn't sleeping.
Hanifa: But what about day dreaming?
Mr. Riel: I've thought about that, but it can't possibly be. I was blinking, and when you're day dreaming, you don't blink. Aaanyways, it's pretty complicated. What I saw was me, myself standing in front of a lot of people giving directions because there was a house caught on fire. First I didn't know who those people were, but I tried to talk to all these different society, and the only society that actually listened to me were the Métis. The more I talk , and associate with the Métis, I got more definite that they were the people I gave directions on my dream...I mean "dream". After I know them really well, they appointed me to be their leader. I couldn't decide whether I should accept or refuse. But, how could I refuse? They were nice to me and all, and since I never graduated, so I really wanted people to know that I'm useful. I decided to stay.
audience:whisper..whisper...whisper...whisper...talk...talk...talk...talk
Hanifa: That is a really really interesting Mr. Riel.
Mr. Riel: Interesting indeed Hanifa.
Hanifa: sigh....let's not waste our time, and get to number two. The question is, "When you made a decision to execute Thomas Scott, what did make you decide you really think Mr. Scott should be executed?" oohh, tricky question.
Mr. Riel: eeemm, the first thing that made me confidence were the weird "dreams" that I told you before, but the most thing that bugged me was the way he stared at me! He gave me this look that disturbed me until now('I can see the face right now' Mr. Riel said with such sarcasm). So, I thought he might have do something bad to me.*Mr. Riel is thinking*
Hanifa: So, practically your decisions depend on your "dreams"?
Mr. Riel: I guess so.
*silence*
Hanifa: Well, I guess we are on the third question. "Some people take you as a "hero", and some people takes you as a traitor. Which one of them did you take more serious?
Mr. Riel: *cough*think for a looong time* I don't really know.
Mr. Riel: I, of course took the negatve side first then the positive one, but after I tried a couple of times to perspect them that I didn't do anything wrong, it didn't work. But even if it's that way, I'll still be positives about them, and just taking it easy and slowly. You know, maybe it'll work.*crossing fingers*
Hanifa: Oh no! we are out of questions! *whispering to Mr. Riel-That's just the way we always finish* Well, I guess our time with Mr. Riel is up, and thnk you again Mr. Riel, And that's it for now! good bye!!
audience:*clap...clap....clap...clap....clap...clap..clap*Hanifa and Mr. Riel shake kands again....*wave...wave...wave....a..n..d...CUT!
I had a good time....and check out these sites pleeaaasee!!!???Well, that's for now bye... thanks for reading!!

Assignment #7 - Canadian Personalities
Hello bloggers, this is my response to Assignment #7.
Q.= a.) Which category of Canadian Personalities interested you the most? Did you like the "we inspired", "we founded", "we fought", "we built" or "we governed" section the best? Why?
A.= a)The category of Canadian Personalities that interested me the most was the "we founded"section. I liked it because it was amazing how they were looking from the different view, and how they worked so hard to reach their "goals".
A.= b)The personality that interests me the most is the Adelaide Hoodless'. I like her personality because she is certain that woman have the same rights for education as the men does, and you know how...I forgot where, but there were these people that each time they got a daughter, they would bury them alive, because they were "ashamed"of having a daughter. Well, as you know, she fought for women for their right of education. "Opens a school of domestic science at the Hamilton YWCA." I got these quotes from here.
Q.= c) In your post, suggest three more influential Canadian personalities that could be added to this site. Why did you choose these people? Which categories would they fit into? Link to information about each of them.
A.= c) The first influential Canadian that I'm suggesting to be added is Rick Hansen.I chose him because he is inspiring like Terry Fox. In fact, Terry Fox was Rick Hansen's friend!? He was inspired, so he made this "Man in Motion" world tour. Rick Hansen fit into the "we inspired" category. The second influential Canadian that I'm suggesting to be added is Wilfrid Laurier. He held the longest tenure as a prime minister. He was a politician, lawyer, journalist, and prime minister of Canada, as a politician, he was clever and judged in a variety of ways. Sir Wilfrid Laurier would fit to the "we governed". The last(as they say...but not least), I'm suggesting Alexander Graham Bell of inventing telephone. Think of us without phones, and he would be on the "we founded".
Q.= d) Which History-Maker did you have the most in common with? Were you able to figure it out from the clues given? Which History-Maker did you have the most in common with? Were you able to figure it out from the clues given? What do you share with that person? What are some things that are different between you and that person?
A.= d) I have the most in common with James Naismith. Well, I wasn't able to figure out from the clues that were given.
Thing we have in common were:
- We both had three siblings, but he had one sister and two brothers, while I have three brothers,
- we both speak English.
- he said, that he believed in building good character through sports and education, and I believed so too!
- James Naismith already traveled to many places in Canada and United States, while I just went to some of the parts.
- he discovered a sport(basketball), and I.....uuummm
What she invented was a cure for the brain cancer from using too much cell phones, and other things in all sorts of category(ex.composing music, write books, etc.). After her invention went through one third of the world, her partners(might be called as friends too) surprised her by building a school and a library in Indonesia(where Hanifa was from)and in Canada, named after her as a memory of her inventions. Remember that she took notes from different school systems? Well, she made her schools to be as fun, as fair, and as safe as possible, because she took all the things she liked from all different schools. She wrote a child's book. One of them is called "Why Going to school?", and a non-fiction book called "My Weird Neighbor", and wrote a book about her life. Some students in her school got taught by Hanifa herself.
Unfortunately, in her age of 54(2050), over the hours she supposed to be awake, she was still in her bedroom; lying down. Not too long after, they found out there was no life in the color of her face. Hanifa died peacefully in her deep sleep. Even though she past, all her accomplishments will never be forgotten.
